Last Thursday’s Closing Reception for the Leadership Circle 2024 was a heartfelt and bittersweet celebration. We honored the successful completion of an incredible first year for this year’s cohort, while also marking the beginning of a new era of commitment, leadership, and empowerment for these 13 amazing and talented participants. Now, they are embarking on their mentorship journey. Each participant is matched with a high-profile leader in the community for one year, fostering growth, guidance, and mutual inspiration. Leadership in Action: 2024 Latino Leadership Cohort Took on Washington, D.C. The Indiana Latino Institute proudly offered our 2024 Leadership Circle Cohort a transformative 3-day journey to Washington, D.C. — a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to engage, learn, and build impactful connections! From meeting with the U.S. House and Senate committees, Senator Todd Young, and the White House Initiative on Education to visiting the embassies of El Salvador and Rwanda and renowned organizations like Excelencia in Education, the cohort immersed themselves in unparalleled learning experiences. Iconic visits to the White House, Capitol Hill, the Pentagon, and the FBI added inspiration to an already unforgettable trip. We are so grateful to this amazing group of leaders for embracing every moment of this journey.
