How often are you going directly to your customers to ask them about themselves? It can be easy to get into the habit of trying to assess your clients and their needs and not actually just going to them to let them answer. A sales needs analysis, also known as a needs analysis, is a process that goes directly to a client to answer crucial questions about who they are, what they're looking for, and what's important to them. Sales need analysis' can be conducted via online surveys, in-person surveys, customer feedback questionnaires, or focus groups. Sales needs analysis can answer a range of questions like: ❔ How easy or difficult is it for you to work with our product or service? ❔ How well does our product or service meet your needs? ❔ What can we do to improve your experience? ❔ What’s most important to you when purchasing a product or service? ❔ Is price, quality, or service most important to you? ❔ What made you interested in our brand? ❔ ...and many others! This important information should be collected and then analyzed to help you better understand your customers, their needs, and the trends that you see within their answers. This data can serve as a mirror to your company as well and help you determine where you are succeeding and areas where you can improve your overall business model or sales process. From this information, you are equipped to further align your messaging, product, and brand with your customers and their needs. This is one of the practices that make your company go from just another brand to a relatable brand that sees, understands, and makes its customers feel known. ✨ #NeedsAnalysis #CustomerExperiences #CustomerFeedback #SmartMarketing #BankMarketing #HigherEdMarketing

We love to talk about conversions around here because it's such a telling and impactful data metric to measure in the marketing world! We want to back up a few steps though, and define conversion. A conversion, in the marketing industry, is when a potential customer/audience accomplishes a desired action due to a marketing message. ⚡ When we say "desired action" that can mean a lot of different things! It could be that they shared, interacted, or liked a post on socials, or it could be that they visited a company's website. It also includes actions like subscribing to an email list, clicking a link on an email blast, or ultimately, purchasing your product or service. ❤️📲🛒 Since conversions are such a broad metric that could be measuring many different actions, marketers need to define what their "desired" actions are for specific campaigns. If you are executing a Facebook Ad campaign, what is the primary action you'd like for your audience to take? Eventually, all campaigns are hoping for a purchase at the end, but identifying the initial "conversions" before that point is important. For most companies, your goal is to have a steady series of small conversions that lead to purchases. That's where we see sales funnels and the tactics that flow from them, like lead magnets, lead nurturing, and retargeting, all come into play. When considering conversions for your business, we suggest taking inventory by answering these questions: » Who am I trying to convert? » What am I trying to convert them to? » How am I tracking conversions? And how am I following up with them? These are the questions that guide you as you define, track, and engage with customers who are converting! #MarketingConversion #MarketingTerms #Marketing101

A huge part of our mission at In the Green Marketing is understanding and capturing the whole picture when it comes to marketing. 📸 That's part of the reason we love full-funnel marketing so much! Full-funnel marketing is a strategic approach that focuses on capturing the full scope of the customer journey or sales funnel. When it's done correctly, full-funnel marketing considers every step of the customer sales journey and how they can meet their needs at each stage. How is full-funnel marketing different? It's easy to spend most of your time and energy focusing on only one part of the sales funnel, especially sales. That's the ditch that lots of marketers can get stuck in. Full-funnel marketing fights against that instinct. Rather than focusing only on sales, this strategy focuses on how to make every part of the process contribute to building a better brand experience. 💡 Data backs up the effectiveness of this strategy too. In a recent study, Google reported that full-funnel marketing campaigns deliver 45% higher ROI than campaigns only focusing on a single level of the funnel! ⚡ To wrap it up, full-funnel marketing helps you deliver the right message at the right time to the right individual, resulting in a better customer and brand experience for your audience! 🌟 If you are interested in implementing full-funnel marketing strategies for your business, contact us by sending us a message or dropping us a line below. #FullFunnelMarketing #FullScopeMarketing

A lead magnet is a free item or offer that a business extends to potential clients in exchange for their contact information. 🧲 Lead magnets can include free samples, free guides on niche subjects, templates, ebooks, complimentary consultations, or quizzes/surveys with results. This is a powerful marketing tool for many reasons, including: 💞 It fosters the client relationship by providing them with value By providing free content to a client, you're providing them with value that fosters credibility, trust, and a sense of loyalty between you and a client! 📧 It's an easy way to grow an email list If you are looking to build an email list, this is a great avenue to do so! It's a way to receive contact information in a way that still allows your audience to feel like they're getting something in exchange. The more valuable of an offer you make, the more emails you'll find yourself collecting! Bonus tip: Make your lead magnet offer highly sharable so that your audience shares it with their friends to get even better results! ➕ It can make your audience want MORE A lead magnet that is going to be most effective is the one that is designed for a specific, targeted audience and speaks to a problem that they're facing. This information should leave them wanting more and looking to your other offerings to fulfill that desire! Boom - you've got new leads! 💥 Lead magnets are going to be different for every company, but we believe can be a valuable marketing tool for ANY company! If you would like to learn more and have lead magnets working for you, send us a message! A modern marketing data stack is a collection of tools that one utilizes to gather, store, and analyze data from their audience. These tools include Customer Relationship Management software (CRMs), website analytics, social media analytics, data integration platforms, and data analytic reporting dashboards. All of these tools have the purpose of either gathering, storing, or processing the data gathered from your various data sources. Why do modern marketing data stacks matter in 2024? With data being one of the richest currencies in the marketing world currently, it is important for companies to take their data seriously, and to steward it well in one place. By building a data stack, you are centralizing where your data is all at, creating efficiencies with data automation, and utilizing cloud-based services to make the data secure, easy to access, and easily integrated across platforms. Companies that have a data stack have: 🤔 Decision-Making Becomes Easier - With all of your data in one place and in real-time, decision-making becomes easier and more efficient. 📊 Increased Efficiencies - Having a centralized data stack eliminates your need to scramble to gather and analyze data every time you execute a marketing campaign. Instead, you'll find that you can easily create dashboards, pull specific data pieces, and create visuals in half the time. 👤 Deeper Customer Insights - When you have data collected, stored, and analyzed together you're able to understand customers on a more personal and detailed scale, making your campaigns a better experience for your customers. Are you interested in learning more about modern marketing data stacks? Send us a message to discuss how we can partner with you to leverage data for your business. #MarketingData #ModernMarketing #HigherEdMarketing #BankMarketing #DigitalTransformation
