Where do we start?! Back in May of this year, we were told that Google for Startups wanted to collaborate with Improving Aviation on our AI journey to develop the best-in-class Wildfire Risk Management and Ember Ignition Prediction Tool. Since May, we’ve worked with many different Google teams, such as Google Cloud support, AI experts, Customer Engineers, Google Sales Academy, coaches from around the world, and subject matter experts in fields like cybersecurity. We even have the opportunity to work with Google partners such as Goodie Nation, among other amazing opportunities. In short, in just a few months, this support has incredibly accelerated our development and made a tremendous difference for us, both internally and externally. This week, Rocio Frej Vitalle and Maria Tirado headed to New York, where they had the opportunity to participate in the Google for Startups Founders Summit. Three incredible days of thinking big, learning lots, and gaining new perspectives in the long-term evolution of responsible AI, but the best part were the amazing and genuine connections we made with other startups, founders, and Google team members. The support and camaraderie were inspiring and touching. It will be hard to top this experience! More than ever, we truly relate to Mr. Sundai Pichai words: "AI is probably the most important thing humanity has ever worked on", and we are fully committed to push the limits of AI to create technologies that enable safer and more efficient operations for those on the ground, from wildfire fighters to defense personnel. A couple of special mentions: it was great to meet in person some of our colleagues from the current cohort, as well as other companies we've had the opportunity to engage with over the last few months, including Benchmark Labs Inc. Sortile HacWare, Hire Henry, JustAir, Sensagrate and Bountiful. Check them out—they’re also pushing the limits of AI! 💥 To the Google team—Danny Navarro Kaili Emmrich Yulkendy Valdez (She-Her) Monica Mora, Hannah and to Joey Womack from Goodie Nation, thank you so much for your hospitality over the last couple of days. Thank you for your time, passion, and caring approach. We look forward to seeing you in person and virtually again soon!
