As we built World of Reza's new digital flagship, one of our foremost priorities was to make visitors feel welcome and excited to explore the jewelry by giving it a sense of availability, despite its very high price point. We integrated two crucial PDP features to address this: Virtual Try On, showing the product on a prospective client without leaving the home, and a seamless appointment scheduling portal, making the bridge between virtual and real as frictionless as possible.

About us
Hugo & Marie is a multi-disciplinary, independently owned creative studio. We work with businesses to create visual worlds and logos, craft brand strategy and tone of voice, design websites, and direct and produce campaigns. We solve both large and small creative challenges by providing elegant ideas and execution to meet both brand and business needs. We believe that a unique point of view must be the soul of any business, and that beauty and joy should be at the heart of any brand. No longer the mirrors of culture, the best contemporary brands are the makers of it. We help transform brands into platforms to inspire, engage and expand their audience - creating value for decades, not seasons. We do this by leading you in unexplored directions, discovering your passions and inspirations, and using these to create something beautiful.

We worked with Tom Ford last year to concept, creative direct, and produce a campaign for the launch of its new 002 CHRONOGRAPH TIMEPIECE. A hero component of the spot was our 3D render of the watch, made in-house using the latest in game engine tech. Cost-effective and adaptive, the rendered timepiece responds fluidly to changes in lighting and has a richness in movement that is difficult to achieve in live capture. Here are a few moments from the film.

The Zachys Gazette was a serialized weekly page, published as a full-page advertisement in the New York Times, an ad strategy masterminded by Don Zacharia. The pages had a cheeky edge with special offers like "The Boss Is Gone Sale" and its foil "The Boss Is Back Sale", but the writerly Zachys team also detailed their international adventures, traveling the world to find the best wine for their clients. Zachys Wine & Liquor is dedicated to wine as a deeply holistic, social experience, and the Zachys Gazette is a wonderful example of this ethos. In crafting the brand's new identity, we sought to infuse every touchpoint with a wink of play. If you make it to the store in Westchester, you can still spot some old Zachys Gazettes adorning the store walls!

Two weeks ago we hosted a talk about the intersection of art and technology. Hugo & Marie artists Natalia Stuyk and Tin & Ed both have research driven, software heavy practices that not only interrogate what’s out there, but also uncover new and surprising uses for emerging tech. At times they all work against certain programs’ intended purposes, finding new modes of expression along the way. Moderated by our very own Michael Whitham, we were so thrilled to hear these artists share more about their individual practices as well as bringing them into conversation with one another. Tin, Ed, and Natalia’s perspectives on emerging technology as another set of tools that artists can use to explore and interrogate what it is to be human, and how we as human beings are part of borderless and often imperceptible natural systems, made for a fascinating and refreshing evening. Thank you to our friends at Hornet for hosting us, thank you to Tin & Ed and Natalia for the insights, and thank you to everyone who came to listen and participate!

Last weekend, a few of our team members went to the inspiring Atmos Magazine x Aerthship event at Public Records here in NYC. We had an amazing time—it was a wonderful, vibrant mix of people coming together for a good cause through musical performance and meaningful conversation. We're proud to work with such an impactful organization!

The Clinique Computer, developed in 1968, was the first Clinique diagnostic tool. A non-electronic box used to determine skin type, it was a staple at Clinique counters across the country . A resonant symbol of Clinique’s dedication to developing tailored solutions for all kinds of skin, we got to see the Clinique Computer up close as a part of our research for the heritage film we made for the brand. It holds up well!

Earlier this year we worked with Girlfriend Collective to reposition, restrategize and rebrand—a company with a wonderful product, and distinct vision. Our new identity for the brand is a brand assertion of purpose that brings a new playfulness to the fore without sacrificing the brand's core environmental and inclusive principles. We worked with the brand across strategy, tone of voice, brand identity, art direction and web design. Take a look at our showcase here: https://lnkd.in/eG9b7MU2
