🥕 Thank you Make Food Not Waste for inviting us to a beautiful event last week. It was an inspiring night dedicated to sustainability and community impact. 🥑 We asked Katie Carano what her favorite part of the evening was and she said she enjoyed catching up with founder Danielle Todd, speaking about everything from French bakeries to pinball. 🥗 HigherRing was very proud to have suggested Make Food Not Waste as an environmental partner for 1% for the Planet -- an organization that helps businesses donate 1% of their revenue to environmental causes around the world. 🥘More about Make Food Not Waste: Their Upcycling Kitchens transform edible food that would otherwise have gone to waste into nutritious meals for eaters and partners. They take in more than 1,000 pounds of surplus produce from farms, grocery stores, and other food distributors, as well as unexpected ingredients and spare ingredients from local restaurants.
