It’s widely agreed that AI is the rocket fuel that will accelerate businesses today to #VersionUp. But many are hesitant and fearful, lacking the skills or data sophistication to wield the technology effectively for a clean and rapid takeoff. We asked more than 400 professional Australians at varying levels of seniority for their views on AI adoption. The research, compiled in our inaugural State of AI in Australia report, unpacks the differences between industries and departments, identifies barriers to implementation, outlines how businesses can overcome them and highlights the opportunities AI presents to drive efficiency and competitive advantage. Industry leaders from 12 pioneering technology brands draw from their experience and weigh in on each of the insights. These included Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Deakin University, Flybuys, Hapsicle, MLAI Aus, QBE Insurance, St Vincent's Health Australia, #TechDiversity #TechDiversity , TikTok, UNSW and Wellcom Worldwide. The research found, although 77% believe AI is a business priority and 86% agreed it should be embraced, organisations are still immature in their AI journey. It also highlighted the need for businesses to roll out comprehensive training, allocate budgets accordingly, and prioritise AI in strategic plans. “AI will undoubtedly shape the future in ways impossible to predict. We set out to benchmark how we’re currently tracking on this AI evolution and better understand organisational pain points. Organisations need a level of data maturity with the right foundations and governance in place to effectively embrace and utilise AI. By leveraging this report and support from leading AI technology consultants, organisations can chart a course towards AI maturity, driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainable growth in 2024 and beyond throughout Australia,” said Steve Tzortzidis, Director of Data and AI at V2 Digital Check out the full report here: https://lnkd.in/grhSFh6v Luli Adeyemo, Christopher B., Ereena Bagga, Miguel Carrasco, Daniel Chew, Jo Duncan, Shaun Gray, Harshal Kapoor, Jaime Blackwell, Louka Ewington-Pitsos, Lukas Wesemann, Clare Smith, Peter 'Dr Pete' Stanski, Derek Youdale #Data #AI #Findings #Report #Australia
