The inaugural BEAM Circular Accelerator cohort will support five high-growth startups who are pioneering the future of innovation of biomanufacturing and bio-enabled climate solutions. This program offers $30K in non-dilutive funding, with an option to seek up to $100K in equity investment from HawkTower (building on their $30M commitment to early-stage bio-based innovations). ✨ Yesterday was an inspiring day for our gener8tor Art x Sherman Phoenix Fall cohort! ✨ We kicked off with our Cohort Mentor Swarm. A speed-dating-style portfolio review session where art professionals shared rapid, actionable feedback with our cohort over the course of two hours. This dynamic setup was all about fostering growth, building connections, and empowering each artist with insights to refine their creative practice. Afterward, we had the privilege of supporting our talented cohort member, Nomka, at her artist talk at Woodland Pattern. It was a proud moment to witness her sharing her work and insights with the community. Grateful for the mentors who generously shared their time and wisdom, and for our cohort members who came prepared, open, and ready to elevate their artistry. Looking forward to seeing how these experiences shape their journeys!
👏 gBETA Wyoming alumni Virtual Sandtable and Aaron Schradin is highlighted here for his impressive volunteer efforts to aid in the flood recovery in North Carolina after Hurricane Helene. Virtual Sandtable used drones to capture high-res images of thousands of devastated acres to produce 3D computer representations, enabling faster responses and efficient use of resources. 👏
