We are a video storytelling agency for marketing rockstars.

About us

FUNGI Media creates visual content campaigns for marketing rockstars wanting to grow their audience, their message and their careers. Let's grow together because...growth is fun :) Why FUNGI Media? People are making more and more videos, tons, loads, terabytes... because that’s what the people want. "WE WANT VIDEOS!!!" Plus the robots (Google, Facebook...etc) are promoting video content, putting it before anything else. But there’s a big problem...what?? Many of these videos are bland, confusing and frankly...boring. In a world full of shrinking attention spans, more isn't always a good thing. So what? How do you stand out from all this noise? I'm Matt Cornelison and I started FUNGI Media to help grow your audience through visual storytelling. For over fifteen years I've worked with Fortune 500 companies like Grainger, Harley Davidson, USG and elite military organizations to bring their message to life through video. In that time, I've learned a few things. First, if you plan to reach more people, it's not enough to simply explain what you do. You have to create something people are excited to share. Second, I've found that humor and humanity are the best ways to make meaningful connections with people. So why FUNGI? Because you want to grow your audience and your business. And because growth is fun :)

  • Nobody likes trying to open their eyes in murky water, right? That's why they invented goggles! Similar to goggles, we've created more transparency and visibility for our clients with..... THE NEW CLIENT DASHBOARD! Fungi's new client dashboard is a one-stop-shop dashboard to view all of your current recently completed projects, where each project shows deliverables and their timelines along with quick access buttons to ready-to-review content. Plus, a nifty button to view the SOW! Forget endlessly searching and scrolling through email threads for links! Fungi's client dashboard: all of your projects, all in one place. The goggles you might not know you needed! Big thanks to Stephen Cook & Sarah Alegria for all their hard work on this epic client perk! #clientdashboard #customerservice #videomarketing #videostorytelling https://lnkd.in/gnEPf2uU

  • Stephen: Hey Matt, think we should put up this 8 foot podcast backdrop ourselves? 🤔 Matt: Sure thing!😁 CUT TO: 8 hours later…😫 Stephen: We should’ve hired a task rabbit.🙄 Here’s a throwback from when Matt Cornelison and Stephen Cook fixed up our podcast recording set, back in February 2023, 🗓️when our studio was brand new! Since then, our fun funky geometric wallpaper has been the backdrop to so many great pieces of content captured in our studio🎤🎙️. The pizza and beer after this all day DIY didn’t hurt either…🏅

  • Anybody else not recognize the Fungi studio?👀 Throwback to our shoot with Grabber Construction Products and The Home Depot, when we got to transform 🪄the studio into a workshop. We shot their in store Home Depot products👷♂️. Retail sites like Home Depot and Lowe's Companies, Inc. have a growing demand for video to educate 📖customers about products. This is a big opportunity going into 2025 to show up as the preferred choice👍. Are you seeing a growing demand for video on retail sites?🧑💻Let us know in the comments⬇️.

  • Every quarter, the Fungi team gets together to take part in a little exercise, and we’re not just talking about riding bikes. We're talking about setting company goals, we call them Rocks🪨🎸 It’s an opportunity to align with our vision. Together, we discuss ways we can contribute to that 👁️vision. We find it to be a refreshing look into the future🔭. It definitely gets us excited for it. This year as a team building precursor to it, we took a company bike ride🚴♂️. (It was also the first time the entire Fungi team got to be together in one physical location🤩). One of our goals is to enhance the experience for our clients. We’ve got some fun ideas to make that happen📝 What's one of your goals for 2025? Let us know in the comments!⬇️ Matt Cornelison Stephen Cook Tony Pawela Demian Krentz Jessica Rundell Jack Mcgreal Sarah Alegria Katherine DeBoor

A phenomenal day a couple weeks ago, capturing the story of how USG Ceilings products really elevated the design behind Wake Technical Community College's East Campus.📚 We got to speak to senior architect Emmie Tyson and senior designer Karen Tobin from BSA LifeStructures and great product advocates and sales reps Adam Drayton Davis and Jay Williams from USG🔏. All led by our fearless Creative Director Ian Robertson Kibbe, of course🌟.
