From September 15 through October 15, we recognized Latinx Heritage Month with a series of events hosted by TENIS (The Latinx Empowerment Network in Sneakers), focused on fostering connection, creativity, and inspiration across the company. Team members came together for engaging panel discussions that highlighted Latinx representation within the sports and entertainment industries. Customers joined the celebration with an in-store activation in partnership with our Home Grown brand, Ballislife, where they got to enjoy an immersive basketball experience including a Ballislife pop-a-shot, a gaming competition, a photo station, and refreshments sponsored by Jarritos US. To conclude the month, TENIS organized, “Sabor and Sip: A Latinx Flavor Experience”, and hosted a collaborative networking event with our EmpowHERed ERG. With shared commitments to basketball culture and community along with a passion for creating legendary experiences, we look forward to teaming up with them for community basketball programs, in-store activations and Tunnel Walk content. Last month, we hosted a Youth Hoops 3v3 Tournament, presented by Foot Locker, which saw over 100 teams compete across two weekends. This past month, Foot Locker hosted Team Week – an annual event, celebrated in each of our global regions, bringing together field leaders and key corporate partners from Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs Sports, and WSS / Foot Locker. Throughout the week-long events, participants focused on developing leadership skills to further advance our Lace Up Plan and drive growth across all markets. Participants heard from our CEO, Mary Dillon and other executive leaders, participated in leadership keynotes, engaged in partner events, and took part in a special celebration of our 50th anniversary – honoring the rich history of our company while setting a clear vision for the future.
