About us
EV Realty accelerates the adoption of commercial EV fleets by focusing on the fundamental constraint all electrified fleets will face: low-cost, reliable and scalable access to grid-scale power. Today’s electrical grid is complex, dynamic and ever evolving. It is also the source of fuel that will power the world’s shift to electrified transportation, requiring nearly 100 GWh of additional annual electricity demand and $125B of investment in EV chargers, grid infrastructure, transmission lines, renewable energy and storage in the U.S. by 2030. But securing grid access and capacity to deploy significant additional EV charging load is a challenge, with desired charging locations often requiring lengthy, expensive and under-utilized infrastructure upgrades, if feasible at all. Unless you know where – and how – to look. EV Realty combines commercial real estate and project siting acumen with energy markets and grid optimization expertise to identify, design and build out the premier DC Fast Charging infrastructure platform for commercial EV fleets.

Last Friday's CARB meeting saw the passage of amendments to the #LCFS. Prior to the vote, EV Realty's Director of Policy Jamie Hall gave comments to the board, in support of the amendment's passage. Those comments were captured by POLITICO's Blanca Begert and highlighted in a recap of the events:

With the amendments to the Low Carbon Fuel Standard from the California Air Resources Board over the weekend, EV Realty's Suncheth Bhat connected with Sophie Austin at The Associated Press and was included in her article discussing what the updates mean for the future of electric vehicles and electrification in the state of California: "Suncheth Bhat, chief commercial officer for EV Realty, an electric vehicle infrastructure company, called the program 'one of the most powerful, transformational policies' to speed up the transition to electric vehicles." "The future of trucking is electric. It will be clean, convenient, and cost effective. Getting there, however, will require hard work and bold decisions." Today, The San Diego Union-Tribune published an Op-Ed from EV Realty CCO Suncheth Bhat, outlining how a "YES" vote from #CARB on the #LCFS amendments would jumpstart California's push to electrify transportation. The Op-Ed was featured in last Wednesday's print edition before going live online today. As Suncheth writes, this opportunity to move forward with LCFS can't be missed. Truck electrification is the goal. As a founding #PACTCoalition member, we know that will take teamwork, innovation, and smart policy. PACT fosters collaboration across the sector around a common goal: scaling up charging infrastructure deployment and enabling heavy-duty electrification.
This week, we're spotlighting #PACTCoalition founding member EV Realty! 🌟 EV Realty develops, deploys, and owns large-scale, multi-fleet EV charging hubs designed for a range of delivery, logistics, and service fleet customers. They leverage proprietary site evaluation and customer intelligence tools to find grid-optimized sites near major transportation hubs and corridors. Customers benefit from reduced costs, optimized charging capacity, and accelerated timelines for accessing EV charging infrastructure. 🔋 Make sure you're following us on LinkedIn to continue learning about our members and how they're shaping and moving the future of #ZEVInfrastructure!

The Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) is one of the most important tools the state has to support the transition to zero emissions freight. It can help solve the "chicken or egg" problem that currently hinders freight electrification: fleet owners will not buy a truck they cannot charge, but investments in charging infrastructure will not happen without greater certainty around electric vehicle deployment. LCFS can bridge this gap. The #LCFS takes the freight transition out of neutral by unleashing billions of dollars in private investment. The climate and air quality impacts that electric trucks will deliver to CA residents - especially those in communities near ports, distribution facilities, and warehouse districts - are immense. The state and her residents can't afford to miss this opportunity. For these reasons, EV Realty urges the California Air Resources Board to vote YES on the LCFS amendments on November 8th.
