Holiday season: Euronet and epay celebrate Diwali in India! While Halloween was celebrated last week, particularly in the Americas and Europe, our colleagues in Asia celebrated Diwali. This is a significant Hindu festival celebrated throughout India and other countries. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. It spans five days, each with its own significance and rituals. The celebrations of our Euronet and epay, a Euronet Company, colleagues were a vibrant mix of traditions and festivities: On the auspicious day of Dhanteras, the team gathered for a ceremonial pooja (veneration) in honor of Laxmi Narayan, asking for divine blessings for all. This was followed by a rangoli contest, where our talented artists used colored powders to create intricate patterns. In addition, the office was decorated with Diwali decorations.
