Edible Philly is a quarterly magazine that tells the stories of local food and agriculture and the people behind it. We cover Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware counties. Our magazine is complimentary thanks to our generous community of advertising partners that help us print these stories and gorgeous images on recycled paper using soy ink each season. Our most popular issue of the year includes our annual Holiday Gift Guide and will profile women in wine and a local cheesemaker making national headlines; we’ll meet the Philly chefs and cooks queering the food scene and share recipes for celebration cakes. All advertisers at 1/4 page and above are included in our annual Holiday Gift Guide (deadline is 10/25 to be included). Please fill out our interest form and we'll be in touch very soon, or as always, feel free to email me directly: [email protected] Interest form: https://lnkd.in/ebWXxuzm

Our Fall travel issue is out making the rounds! This gorgeous cover photo of Czerw's Kielbasa by Miana Jun teases a piece by Natalie Jesionka about the past, present and future of Polish food in Philadelphia. (Including Little Walter's, which was just named a Top 50 Restaurant in the US by The New York Times!) This issue marks our first dedicated to the theme of travel - both near and far. We speak with several chefs and makers creating a sense of place through food, feature a can’t miss list of food and drink spots across Philly from Saltete Guides, and share some great fall recipes that spotlight the not-so-humble carrot. Check our website for a pickup location near you or subscribe to get each issue delivered right to your door every season. As always, please reach out to me with any questions, requests or comments: [email protected] -Jen Honovic Herczeg, Publisher https://lnkd.in/e-HD6dxV

Edible Philly is excited to be partnering with Maddy Sweitzer-Lamme of Tiny Table Tours to host our first Philadelphia Women in Wine Tour on Saturday, October 12th. On this small-group tour, 15 lucky guests will visit four of Philadelphia’s best wine bars and shops, all of which just so happen to be run by women. At each stop, we’ll try a few wines, chat about how these women approach their programs, and dive deeper into Philly’s wine scene. Throughout the tour, we will sip with: 🍷 Chloe Grigri, James Beard Nominee and owner of Superfolie (Esquire Best New Bar 2023), The Good King Tavern and Le Caveau 🍷 D’Onna Stubblefield, GM and Beverage Director for Bloomsday Cafe 🍷 Sande Friedman, beverage director for Di Bruno Bros. 🍷 Francesca Galarus, co-owner Mural City Cellars, Philadelphia’s first urban winery The tour is limited to just 15 guests to ensure an intimate group experience (Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate dietary restrictions for this tour.) Tickets are nonrefundable and the tour will run rain or shine. This tour will begin at the Di Bruno Bros. Bottle Shop on 9th Street in the heart of the Italian Market and end at Bloomsday Café in Headhouse Square. We’ll walk in between stops, so please expect about a mile of walking. Head to the link below to purchase your ticket ($250 ea). We’re so excited for you to join us! https://lnkd.in/eSRRZ7md
