Setting yourself apart in wash of emails and DMs is tricky in sales. We’ve all had sales messages on LinkedIn? How often do you reply to those that are completely generic, compared to those that were clearly tailored for you? Here’s a few of my things I'm always conscious of: 🕵️♂️ Do Your Homework : A quick LinkedIn or social media scan can give you some golden nuggets about your prospect. Use that info to tailor your approach. (Make sure it's relevant!) 🏆 Mention Their Company’s Wins: Did their company just hit a milestone or launch a new product? Bring it up! Shows you’re paying attention and care about their success. (Leaders will usually boast about a new tool they are using or things they're proud of - here you can build a picture up about what they care about). 🎯 Ask a Question: By asking an intriguing question you’re far more likely to get a response. Make sure it relates to something on their page or about them. 🤗 Be Human: Drop the sales jargon and be genuine. People respond to authenticity.
