We're excited to share some updates at Concentro! 🚀 Over the summer, we raised a $3M seed round led by firstminute capital with participation from LifeX Ventures, Silence, Plug and Play Tech Center, Avesta Fund, Calafia Iberia, a doubling down from our pre-seed investors J Ventures, Dorm Room Fund, & Contour Venture Partners, as well as participation from a host of amazing strategic angels. We couldn’t be more happy with the investor group we’ve assembled. The round will help us accelerate towards our goal of making tax credit transfers seamless and accessible for clean energy developer sellers as well as corporate and individual buyers. Moreover, it will give us the resources to build the right technology tools to streamline transactions and diligence, as well as to launch financing products beyond tax credit transfers, in line with our mission to create a one-stop-shop for clean energy projects to get financed. Since the fundraise, we have been keeping very busy: - We have over $300m in tax credits ready to be financed on the platform across more than 60 developers. - We closed multiple transactions, including transacting with a Fortune 50 all the way down to closing one of the smallest transactions ($99k!) in the industry. - We assembled a stellar team that we are incredibly excited about. - We have made exciting inroads in developing AI tools to enhance underwriting processes and unlocking smaller scale transactions (under $10M). NEWS: Today we are happy to announce Inversion has closed a $44M Series A financing to build and deliver Arc, our next gen autonomous re-entry vehicle, that will deliver cargo anywhere on Earth in under an hour. We couldn't be more excited to have these partners on board as we scale. At Inversion, we pride ourselves on efficiently delivering amazing products to our customers. We designed, built, and tested Ray, our technology development vehicle which flies in the coming months, with just 25 people and our Seed round we raised in 2021. Arc will open up space as a platform for storage and delivery of cargo. Ocean faring ships made it possible to access the globe in one week, airplanes brought that time down to one day, Arc will make one hour global access common place. 🚀 Big news: Inversion has been granted a re-entry license from the Federal Aviation Administration, and is now the only company besides SpaceX approved to re-enter in the US. This means our Ray spacecraft, launching soon on SpaceX’s Falcon 9 Transporter-12 Rideshare mission, is cleared to return to Earth. The upcoming mission will help us test our technologies and bring us closer to enabling precision delivery from space to anywhere on the planet, in minutes.  Meeting or exceeding regulatory requirements has been a key consideration during our development process from Day 1. Huge thanks to Collin Corey, our Head of Regulatory Licensing, whose expertise allowed us to navigate the process smoothly, and to all of our partners at the FAA for the ongoing collaboration.
