#DISCUS2024: We worked hard to protect distiller & consumer interests across the nation. Notably, we were able to expand #RTD access for adult consumers in Pennsylvania! Additionally, 5 states made #CTG permanent bringing the total to 29, and we secured wins on spirits #RTDs in 3 states and defeated tax threats in 11 states.

A few years after arriving in America, Jörg Rupf was inspired by the spectacular quality of California fruit leading him to create St. George Spirits in 1982. #DISCUSMember St. George Spirits uses old-world distilling techniques to create modern, award-winning spirits and is considered a pioneer in the craft distillery movement. St. George is known as America’s original artisan distillery, and as the movement has grown, so has the distillery, which now produces several variations of gin, vodka, whiskey, brandy and more. Each spirit is crafted intentionally to always bring something new to the distilled spirits industry. St. George’s Master Distiller Lance Winters is praised for expertly blending his creative artistry with the science of distilling and has guided the launch of several of St. George’s most iconic spirits. Head Distiller and Blender Dave Smith also lends his expertise, leading the brand's world-class whiskey program and continuing to inspire the next generation of distillers. Located in Almeda, CA, St. George Distillery occupies a 65,000-square-foot airplane hangar in an area now known as Spirits Alley. Spirits enthusiasts can check out the visitor center for tasting flights or taste the spirits at home in this NOLA Nog recipe courtesy of Brianna Danner: 1 part St. George NOLA Coffee Liqueur 1 part Eggnog Cocoa Powder Garnish: cinnamon stick Mix NOLA Coffee Liqueur and eggnog in a mug or glass, stir with cinnamon stick and sprinkle with cocoa powder. #EnjoyResponsibly #MemberMonday #CraftSpirits Photo credits: Nicola Parisi, Jason Tinacc, Alex Zyuzikov, Emma K.
