DBeaver 24.3 is out! It contains a number of updates to improve users' workflows. This version introduces features for analyzing data from external files, improvements for secure networks, and additional database drivers. Highlights of DBeaver 24.3: Flat Files Drivers: Load XLSX, CSV, and Parquet files and work with data from them as you do with relational databases. Use joins and aggregate functions to analyze data across multiple files. DBeaver Tunnel: A new Team Edition desktop feature allows users to securely connect to databases hosted on closed networks. Improved Data Comparison: There is now support for composite keys, which improves data consistency checking in any two tables. New Database Drivers: We added support for libSQL and DolphinDB, expanding work with replicated and time-series data. For libSQL, we created the first open-source JDBC driver, which is now available on GitHub and Maven. To evaluate all the new features, update to DBeaver 24.3 today. Easily using shortcuts can speed up your work. With DBeaver, you can reassign and customize any default hotkeys to your taste. Go to Preferences → User Interface → Keys, find the shortcut you need, and edit it as you wish.

Writing the same "SELECT * FROM" and other statements repeatedly can be annoying, even if you use the autocompletion feature. DBeaver’s SQL query templates can save you a lot of time. Explore and modify your data in a familiar grid view, or dive into the details with a dedicated JSON view that provides a clear, structured format for easy analysis. Seamlessly switch between these modes to efficiently manage and update your data.

Whether you're a seasoned SQL developer or just starting out, DBeaver makes your code cleaner and easier to read. Format SQL queries instantly with just two clicks using the SQL Editor's context menu. Want even more control? Customize your formatting rules. Apply them to individual scripts or set global defaults for all your queries. Find these customization options under Preferences → Editors → SQL Editor → Formatting and make your code look its best.

You can quickly adjust the font size in your SQL code. Just try the hotkeys CTRL+ to zoom in and CTRL- to zoom out (CMD+ and CMD- for macOS). This setting will be applied to all SQL editors and saved the next time you launch the app.
