The UK has researched the harms of AI and its uses. The UK has passed legislation and so has China. Here in the United States of America, it is still unregulated and firms that invest in and develop AI tools and platforms are attempting to shape policy(ies). Will we let AI follow the path of social media platforms in terms of regulation? Will we wait until society and business has experienced too much harm from AI before attempting serious work on regulating AI?
