Serendipity flowed my way yesterday! 🌟 I had the privilege of attending the keynote address by my colleague Michele Stowe, PCC. Michele and I are connected via Consortium for Change. #C4C Despite yesterday being our first in-person meeting, it felt like we've known each other for years. Her insights, passion, and energy have always inspired me, even from afar. Grateful for this wonderful connection! Michele's journey from mission-centered executive work in the nonprofit world to launching Skyrocket Coaching resonates deeply with many of us purpose-driven professionals. Feeling overwhelmed by the demands of the noble mission, Michele found herself at a crossroads, struggling to maintain balance and avoid burnout. Her solution was to support executives in the non profit sector through worksops and executive coaching. She interviewd over 100 C-level executives in the non profit sector and created the Listen, Lead + Love framework. One of the top three skills identified? Role Model Self Care. In today's fast-paced world, taking care of ourselves isn't just essential—it's revolutionary. Recently, Adrienne Guerrero and I had the privilege of facilitating an expert panel discussion on employee wellbeing. The resounding consensus? Self-care starts with self.
