Biodiesel is a versatile fuel that can be used year-round even in the harshest weather conditions, and the grueling Atlantic bluefin season is no exception. Fishing fleets are turning to #biodiesel to power commercial tuna boats using locally sourced fuel from producers, like Cape Cod Biofuels. This non-toxic, diesel fuel alternative is helping the maritime industry cut emissions and protect America’s oceans—without extra costs. Homegrown biodiesel is the reliable and responsible choice for an industry reliant on sustainable fishing practices. #BetterCleanerNow #performanceproven

We were honored to visit NYC Citywide Administrative Services today to hear from Keith Kerman and Commissioner Louis Molina on the city’s progress using #biodiesel and #renewablediesel. Thank you for hosting our farmer leaders!
Dramatic Expansion in Renewable Fuel Use Today NYC Citywide Administrative Services hosted Clean Fuels Alliance America with farmers and representatives from 14 states, (South and North Dakota, Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, Missouri, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Arkansas, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio, Massachusetts) to discuss NYC's progress in using biofuels. NYC made its largest strides ever in biofuel use in the last year as NYC Mayor Adams announced both the complete changeover from fossil diesel to renewable diesel for the City's trucking and off-road fleet and the launch of renewable diesel to replace fossil in the New York City Department of Transportation Staten Island Ferry and New York City Economic Development Corporation NYC Ferry program. What began as a pilot and test stemming from the 2005 Fleet Show at NYC Department of Parks & Recreation has now become the main fuel for City government transport operations, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, and fuel smell. Some of the participants took our smell test, comparing foul fossil diesel to nearly odorless renewable diesel. Biodiesel is also used in increasing percentages in heating oil consistent with City and State law. DCAS has also introduced over 2,500 soy-based vehicle tires. Thanks to Donnell Rehagen, Tom Verry, Louis A. Molina, Beatrice Thuo, Harris Kaplan, Gary Prasad, and so many others who have been part of this successful effort, partnership, and today's event. https://lnkd.in/eif5aHB6 https://lnkd.in/eecgUsMR https://lnkd.in/eErc2dwi https://lnkd.in/exrqfP5d

Clean Fuels is grateful for the support of the United Soybean Board and its directors who continue to promote the programs and research that drive industry success. Our team was happy to meet with farmer leaders this week to discuss new and growing markets for #biodiesel, #renewablediesel and #SAF. Clean fuels are essential to America’s farms and food security, using over 1 billion pounds of #soybean oil every month, and the #benefitskeepgrowing.
