Today I’m proud to share a couple of recent accomplishments to close out 2024. CleanCapital has secured an additional equity investment of $145M from Manulife Investment Management and other leading institutional investors. This latest investment—the third from Manulife—reflects confidence in the market opportunity in distributed #cleanenergy and in CleanCapital’s ability to execute on it. We are so appreciative of the longtime support and alignment of both investment outlook and business values we share with the Manulife team, especially Scott Kushner and Recep C. Kendircioglu. Additionally, we’ve acquired a sizable portfolio of operating #solar assets from Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure, LLC, bringing our total portfolio of operating assets to more than 340 MW. Together, these announcements reflect CleanCapital’s momentum as a leader in the clean energy expansion that’s happening all across the country. Two weeks ago, I spoke at the Solar Energy Industries Association's Member Reception at RE+ Midwest in Chicago. Admittedly, it was hard to say anything to a room full of renewables industry folks the day after the election. That said, the turnout and engaging conversations I had on the ground showed just how much inertia our industry does have. Regardless of who is in The Administration, Renewables will continue to grow, creating domestic jobs and getting us closer to our decarbonization goals.
