Letters To Santa “We all wrote letters to Santa as kids and left them in our house. This is such a great tradition for Odessa to have because it really brings us together,” Lora Potter, OFR Fire Admin. said. Youngsters can drop off their letters at Odessa City Hall (411 W 8th St) between December 16th and 19th and guess what? Santa will personally reply! A Legacy of Dedication Barry Wooten is celebrating 37 years of service with the City of Odessa! As the city's first Safety Coordinator, Barry has remained dedicated to this role since day one. “We conduct accident investigations, manage the drug and alcohol program, oversee fire suppression systems, handle insurance renewals and much more,” Barry shared. Barry’s hard work and strong commitment to Odessa are truly appreciated. Congratulations on this incredible milestone, Barry!

Jingle All the Way 5K The holiday spirit was alive and well as runners crossed the finish line, bringing cheer, laughter and a whole lot of holiday magic to the race! “It’s good for the community because it brings people out to get into running and for those who want to get healthy or participate in all these little 5Ks. It shows that you’re not the only one who wants to be a runner—everyone comes together to do the same thing,” Adrial Rojas, a runner said. Thank you to our community for coming together, running with purpose, and spreading holiday cheer. Let’s keep that festive energy going all season long!
