This decision followed a rigorous national search, and it became clear that Shawna’s unmatched expertise, leadership, and passion make her the ideal leader to take Camp Fire into its next generation of impact.” - Danette Andley, Chair of the Camp Fire National Board of Trustees. A recognized national leader in the youth development field, Shawna has elevated Camp Fire’s practices and thought leadership to prominent stages in her roles at Camp Fire National Headquarters over the past decade, including the White House, the U.S. Department of Education, SXSW EDU, and the National Afterschool Association. With her guidance, the organization has launched groundbreaking initiatives, strategic planning processes, and key partnerships, including with the National Indian Education Association. Shawna’s innovative approach ensures Camp Fire remains at the forefront of youth-driven, inclusive programming. We are confident Shawna’s leadership will not only honor Camp Fire’s rich history but also ensure its continued impact for generations to come. We are still accepting applications to join our team as the Program Manager, Inclusion & Belonging at Camp Fire! 🤑 Salary: $53,000 – $60,000  📅 Full-time  💻 Fully remote Responsibilities: 🎨 Provide and amplify resources, tools, training, and programming to develop a culture of inclusion and belonging in Camp Fire program spaces. 🫱🏽🫲🏻 Create community engagement programming and partnerships prioritizing equity and inclusion, specifically engaging Black, Indigenous, and Youth of Color (BIYOC) and families 💡 Provide professional development and support to the national network to advance Camp Fire’s commitment to address and end cultural appropriation 📣 Provide partnership opportunities and awareness of Camp Fire’s work through trainings, webinars, and presentations at conferences and for other youth-focused organizations. ✅ Keep up-to-date of the latest trends in equity, inclusion, belonging, community-based programming and positive youth development, and implications for Camp Fire youth and staff.  We are accepting applicants until January 17th.
