Did you know that diapers are the third largest source of waste in U.S. households? What are we doing to combat this?🤔💭 Bright Horizons is honored to share our pilot program featured on WBZ | CBS Boston. In partnership with Huggies/Kimberly-Clark, Reworld Waste, and six of our Boston centers, we are working to offset the environmental impact of used diapers by converting them into energy.⚡ Since January, we have diverted 34,000 lbs of waste from local landfills, generating 3 megawatt hours of energy—enough to power five local homes for a month!💡💪 Watch more 👉https://bh.social/4fbX2Ts

One of the biggest hurdles for parents returning to in-person work is finding adequate child care. With shortages and rising costs, some major employers are stepping up. This May, Walmart opened Little Squiggles #childcare center at its new home office in Bentonville, Arkansas, accommodating over 500 children. 🌟 This initiative not only supports #workingparents but also enhances #employeeretention and productivity. As more companies enforce return-to-office policies, on-site childcare is becoming a crucial benefit.
