About us
BosonQ Psi is a software venture that leverages the power of Quantum computing to perform simulations. We build simulation capabilities utilizing a hybrid infrastructure of quantum computers and classical high-performance computers (HPC) to highlight near-term value additions to our customers. Additionally, we are exploring new ways to perform simulations for fault-tolerant quantum computers in the future. Currently, we are building BQPhy™ - the world’s first Quantum-powered simulation-as-a-service (Q-SaaS) based software suite. Our next-generation software suite offers computational advantages across various fields of engineering simulations. At present, we provide structural mechanics, thermal sciences, and design optimization capabilities. BQPhy will incorporate fluid mechanics, electrochemistry, electromagnetics, and acoustics in future versions. BQPhy is geared toward enterprise customers wanting to accelerate their time-to-market by reducing their simulation time without sacrificing high accuracy in delivering innovative and reliable products. These enterprise customers come from aerospace, automotive, energy, manufacturing, biotechnology, construction, and other engineering-heavy industries. The power of BQPhy comes from its state-of-the-art proprietary simulation solvers and patented quantum algorithms. Our name, BosonQ Psi, pays tribute to the great Indian physicist Dr. Satyendra Nath Bose, after whose name the elementary particle in quantum mechanics, Boson, was named and further incorporates the fundamental quantity that describes the state of the quantum particle - Psi, thus symbolizing the company's Indian origin and fundamental goal to become a global leader in Quantum paradigm shift.

Awesome news from BosonQ Psi (BQP)!! We’ve raised $3M in our Seed-1 round, pushing total funding to $4.7M. This milestone was powered by visionary investors like Monta Vista Capital, Emergent Ventures, Armory Square Ventures, Alumni Ventures, and Paradigm Shift Capital (existing investor). But this milestone isn’t just about the capital, it’s about the mission that fuels us every day: transforming industries stuck in the past by pioneering the future of simulation technology. In a world where engineers face outdated tools and impossible trade-offs between speed and accuracy, BosonQ Psi saw an opportunity: why settle for limitations when we can redefine the boundaries? In just 12 months: ✅ We delivered a paid pilot with a Tier-1 Aerospace manufacturer. ✅ Secured a $550K EV battery optimization grant from Government of India's Ministry of Heavy Industries. ✅ Demoed quantum-native solvers for CFD and Computer Vision. ✅ Partnered with AFRL/RI to pioneer quantum digital engineering. This journey isn’t just about technology—it’s about courage, resilience, and the power of bold ideas. Every line of code, every pilot project, and every challenge we overcome reflects our unwavering belief in building a better future for mission-critical industries. This vision drives Abhishek Chopra, Rut Lineswala, Aditya Singh, and the entire BosonQ Psi (BQP) family, whose dedication and passion have been the backbone of this incredible journey. Thank you for being an integral part of our mission! To our investors, partners, and unstoppable team: this is your win as much as it is ours. Here’s to proving that no challenge is too big, no vision too ambitious. Together, we’re reshaping what’s possible. #Innovation #QuantumInspired #SimulationRevolution More GREAT things on horizon... ‼️Big News from BQP 💻⚛️✈️ I'm thrilled to announce that BosonQ Psi (BQP) has closed a $3M+ Seed-I round, led by Roger Krakoff at Monta Vista Capital and with participation from Anupam Rastogi at Emergent Ventures, Somak Chattopadhyay at Armory Square Ventures, Ron Levin at Alumni Ventures, and Govind Mundhra at Paradigm Shift Capital (existing investor). ⚙️ Innovation in mission-critical industries (Aerospace & Defense, Semiconductor, Energy, etc.) has stalled due to outdated simulation technology—a $22B market. Engineers face a trade-off: accurate but slow and costly simulations that delay time-to-market, or fast but inaccurate ones that risk costly delays and recalls. This stems from two core issues: algorithms unchanged since the 1980s and computing power nearing its limits. With growing demands, quantum computing is emerging as the next frontier. BQP is transforming the simulation technology landscape by accelerating advanced simulations by 10X on today's HPC using quantum-inspired algorithms and in the future by 1000X on forthcoming #quantumcomputers using quantum-native algorithms. The core of our solution is our unique backend simulation platform, #BQPhy©, which hosts novel mathematical solvers (optimization, physics-based, and data-driven) integrated with quantum algorithms that can be seamlessly called into existing engineering workflows. I'm so proud of the entire BQP team for what we have achieved in the past 12 months, including: ✅ Successful (paid) pilot with a Tier-1 Aerospace manufacturer for a large-scale optimization problem with BQPhy's #Quantum-Inspired Evolutionary #Optimization (QIEO) solver. ✅ Successful demo of QIEO with IAI North America (Catalyst Accelerator with Starburst - Design Optimization), ABB (Electrification Challenge - Energy Cost Optimization), and Ministry Of Heavy Industries ($550K grant - EV Battery Optimization) ✅ Demonstration of our quantum-native physics-based and data-driven solvers for applications in #CFD and #ComputerVision. ✅ Partnership with #AFRL/RI (Rome, NY) under a CRADA to explore opportunities within DoD for quantum computing-based digital engineering, #MBSE, & #DigitalTwin. Special shoutout to my co-founders, Jash Minocha and Rut Lineswala, and founding member Aditya Singh, for their amazing work. I would like to deeply thank Morgan Polotan, Vijay Sethi, Reed Frerichs, Mark Castleman, Nate Mason, and our families for supporting us throughout the process. This funding will help to continue deepening our roots in the US and Indian markets, especially in the #Aerospace & #Defense, and #Semiconductor industries. We're scaling our team rapidly to tackle the growth we are seeing with ongoing & upcoming pilots. PS: we couldn't have made this without the support of all our investors - IAI North America, Griffiss Institute, Alchemist Accelerator, Radiant Digital Ventures, 3to1 Capital, iSeed, and Angel Scions...continued in comments. Let's solve your unsolvable problems!
