In honor of International Migrants Day, celebrated annually on Dec. 18, we’re spotlighting Semih Iseri, Electronic Banking Analyst, and Nazli Iseri, Cards and ATM Analyst. Semih and Nazli immigrated from Turkey to the United States in 2022. Semih and Nazli both worked in banking in Turkey, and after some initial challenges finding employment in the US, were happy to join the Bankers Trust team in 2023. “One of most difficult parts of getting started here was finding jobs,” Semih says. “When we’d apply for jobs, companies would often compliment us on our resumes and career accomplishments, but we wouldn’t be offered the position due to lack of work history here in the U.S.” The Iseris credit the kindness of others for where they are today and appreciate the development opportunities and culture offered at Bankers Trust. We’re grateful for the unique perspectives and experiences Semih and Nazli – and all of our team members who are immigrants – bring to our team.
