💫 This week's #FridayBite is brought to you by Associate Vice President, Alexis Wulf: The world of consumer brands has changed rapidly over the past few years, and with it so has PR. Brands face an increasingly crowded and noisy digital space while consumers are inundated with content from every direction. To break through the noise, PR strategies must be more than just about getting visibility; they need to focus on creating meaningful, authentic digital experiences that resonate with target audiences and foster genuine connections with their audience. In today’s competitive landscape, the best approach is often using all tactics across storytelling in earned media, influencer partnerships, interactive campaigns, affiliate marketing and engaging experiences. At Autumn, we take a wholistic point of view, creating a strong PR strategy that encompasses all of these avenues together that focuses on more than just promoting product — it’s about humanizing the brand and creating a narrative that people can relate to and engage with. When all of the elements of the PR strategy ladder up to the overarching goal of authentic storytelling, our brands can cut through the digital clutter, establish deeper connections, and cultivate long-lasting loyalty in an increasingly discerning market.

💄 This week's #FridayBite is brought to you by Associate Vice President, Anna MacLellan: Heading into the holiday season, the topic of waste is more prevalent than ever. It can be discouraging when wrestling with the thought of making a meaningful contribution to combatting environmental stress in an industry that traditionally prioritizes indulgence + consumption. One of the aspects I admire most about Autumn is their alignment to actively champion and partner with companies that are consciously pushing the low-impact conversation forward. From first-of-its-kind dissolvable packaging to biotech beauty marvels, I’m more hopeful than ever by the fleet of brands that are pioneering innovation with sustainability at the helm. By using our PR platform to arm consumers with choice and education, we have a real opportunity to initiate change now.

⚡ This week's #FridayBite is brought to you by Associate Vice President, Alexandra Leon: Social media has transformed dramatically over the past decade, significantly influencing how we approach our media relations as well. Trends originate on social media, and whether they fade quickly or stick around, it’s essential to stay on top of them to spot emerging trends that could shape editorial stories. As I scroll through social media, I’m always on the lookout for new trends and thinking of creative ways to insert our clients into topical, relevant conversations. From "Brat Summer" to "Spaving," "Demure Fall," and everything in between, staying ahead of these trends is crucial for a successful media strategy.

🌟 This week's #FridayBite is brought to you by Associate Vice President, Kelsey Kearns: Working in the CPG PR space for over 10 years, I’ve watched the landscape change tremendously. You used to be able to land a feature with a simple new collection launch or product flavor. Today, it has become an increasingly competitive market with new, buzzy brands and launches popping up everyday. We pride ourselves at Autumn to think outside the box. How are we going to land the bigger story? What will break through to set our brand apart? We are constantly reading the news to see how we can insert ourselves in trends, what activation ideas we can do (big or small) to make noise in the category, or what brand collaborations are we bringing to the table that are like-minded, yet unexpected. We are also experts at storytelling. It is up to us to come up with new narratives and angles that go beyond standard launch news or product roundups. Our brands are selling so much more than a product and it is our job to build stories that drive meaningful features.
