The Asian Giving Circle (AGC), an initiative of The Chicago Community Trust , supports Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI)-led nonprofits in the Chicago region through collective community giving. For over 20 years, AGC has pooled resources from its members to provide grant funding in support of the diverse and evolving needs of the region’s AAPI community. The Springboard Foundation Fund is opening its grant cycle for 2025 funding! OVERVIEW: We fund small nonprofits that provide critical afterschool programs in under-invested neighborhoods in Chicago. Our funding style is venture philanthropy light providing general operating and capacity-building support to start-up nonprofits and their intrepid leaders for 5 years. First-year grantees receive general operating fund grants between $3,500-$7,500 plus capacity-building funds. Based on the results of the annual evaluation, we increase the grant amount by $2,500-$5,000 every year until graduation.
