Aqua Metals was pleased to host representatives from FCAB (The Federal Consortium for Advanced Batteries) at our Innovation Center to show them our operating Li AquaRefining pilot/demonstration plant and our nearby Sierra ARC in the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center, NV. FCAB brings together federal agencies, including DOE, EPA, workforce development, DOD, and others, that are interested in ensuring a domestic supply of lithium batteries and are committed to accelerating the development of a robust and secure domestic industrial base. FCAB toured our pilot operation, where we showed them our cost-advantageous and unique recycling process, which is decarbonized and optimized for worker safety, and our under-construction Sierra ARC facility. We look forward to working with FCAB and the various agencies in the future to do our part to establish a truly sustainable domestic lithium battery ecosystem.
