Today, A+E Networks named Toby Byrne its new president of ad sales, effective February 2025. Byrne will succeed Peter Olsen, who has decided to retire after nearly 20 years at the company. Last week, our #VET ERG, along with the Neurodiversity and Open Minds ERGs, organized a meaningful event at our offices in NYC. We had the privilege of hosting an impactful conversation about PTSD, where veterans bravely shared their experiences and the strategies that helped them in their journey towards healing and personal growth. We extend our deepest gratitude to all the veterans who participated and salute them for their service on this Veterans Day and always.

Last weekend, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden unveiled a reimagined public tour of the White House, designed to provide more educational content and inspire people of all ages to learn about our nation’s history. A+E Networks and the HISTORY Channel are proud to have helped bring to life the First Lady’s vision and to join with many partners including the First Lady and her team, National Park Service, White House Curator’s Office, White House Historical Association, presidential libraries, and ESI Design to expand the tour experience. The updated tour includes dynamic new components including videos, a 3D model, and other features that visitors can hear, see and touch. I would like to thank Michael Feeney and Kimberly Gilmore for their invaluable work on seeing this project through, and I am incredibly honored that the HISTORY Channel has played a key role in this vital educational initiative for the American public and visitors from around the globe to learn more about the lives of Presidents and their families.
