It does not mean each has to have an equal say but rather it could be that those who have more experience and capability in one area can take more of a lead, and vice versa. This future proofing should be done keeping in mind the fact that your property, intellectual or otherwise, is safe.

If you must spend time identifying each twist and turn for your business and how the partners should address these situations and make it part of the legal agreement, then you need to revisit the partners involved.

That pendulum is likely to start with the 3rd party "coming up to speed" and sometimes (when results are healthy) swings all the way to the other side....sometimes described as "this is too easy and we are paying too much" Keep in mind the risk / reward balance when thinking about revenue sharing. Remember that if you can keep one partner happy and growing, you can likely do more. There's few things better in GTM than having a partner drive revenue at a rate lower than your own CAC while simultaneously having little to no downside risk. The flip side is - for 3rd parties - the times are dwindling to pay healthy retainers just to learn.
