Every Executive is different, however there are a couple of models that can help zero in on what is most essential to their roles. 1. Altitude What level is this person in the organization and what is they primary focus? Are they dealing with strategic execution, hitting OKR's/KPI's or are they managing a team focused on a series of tasks and processes? 2. Time Horizon How far into the future are they really looking? This quarter, next quarter, a year or two, a decade or two? Very high level executives in large organizations could be looking up to 10 to 15 years into the future. Once you have these two dialed in you can craft your message respectively and be confident that you are speaking to their relevant context.
