The Flexera 2025 IT Priorities Report surveyed 800 IT leaders from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and Australia to determine how IT decision makers’ priorities have evolved over the past 12 months and outline their focus for next year.

Worldwide IT spending is currently estimated to reach $5.26 trillion in 2024¹, bolstered by an increase in AI technologies. However, managing technology investments is more complicated and disjointed than ever, increasing organizations’ concern of wasted spending and potential security risks. A recent report suggests that less than 50% of organizations have complete visibility of their IT environments².

Flexera is the first ITAM solutions provider to hold all Oracle third-party SAM tool verifications within the Global Licensing Advisory Services (GLAS) program. The verifications assure customers they can maximize the value of their Oracle investments with data they can trust across Flexera products.

Flexera’s annual report, which surveys global IT professionals, investigates how the maturity of IT asset management (ITAM), FinOps, security, software asset management (SAM) and hardware asset management (HAM) teams impacts the value they deliver to their organizations.
