Introduction
This book is a resource to take on a daily journey to redefine the way you think about everyday life events. Mental health is an important part of maintaining your well-being. But most often, attending to your mental well-being does not happen until in the midst of a life-changing event, such as divorce or the loss of a loved one, or when stress has become overwhelming. Whether you need to work on your mental well-being or are maintaining your mental health, I hope this book will be a trusted resource.
The goal of the next 21 days is to get you in the practice of being reflective on the way you think about certain things in your life. To challenge you to identify problem-solving approaches that address the problem at hand and not be overwhelmed by the task of addressing it. To consider the relationships in your life and better ways of taking care of them.
There are 21 readings to support a 30-day cycle of reflecting on how you are making the changes outlined. It is helpful if the things that resonate with you that need to be changed have some space for accountability. The tasks here are awareness and action. Once you have read through all the devotions, go back through and revisit how you are implementing the changes you are looking to make.
I encourage you to use this book in one of two ways.
