His previous books are a novel, Longitude, published by the University of the Philippines Press in Diliman, Quezon City, and a short story collection, Lassitude, published by Anvil Publishing in Pasig City. The latter won a National Book Award in the Philippines. His short stories have appeared in various magazines and anthologies in the Philippines. A graduate of the University of San Carlos in Cebu City, he has attended the writers’ workshops at Silliman University in Dumaguete, and at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City. He lives in Mandaue in Cebu.view less
