In high school, I was called upon to substitute for the lower elementary grades when a sub could not be acquired on short notice. In college, I was editor of the newspaper and worked on the yearbook and generally found myself involved in writing activities.
I was married to my husband 49 years. He recently passed away this year. We have four children – three living and working in Connecticut and one in New Orleans, Louisiana.
