In Jr. High, he wrote short stories. While working as a cowboy, he wrote a novel with a pencil and scrap paper. He rewrote it two decades later and sold it to a different publisher. He freelanced magazine articles until publishing a book of short stories of his episodes while riding the Mexico border horseback for U.S. Customs.
This was his last work until starting the Cody Hunter series.view less
