Agency for top reality show is accused of 'not paying its cast members' and treating on-screen talent like 'volunteers'

A former Made In Chelsea extra has accused an agency used by the show of not paying its cast members.

Minja Vuletic, an extra employed by an externa agency, appeared on the show in summer 2023 and says she has still not been paid.

Speaking to The Sun, Minja claimed she is still owed hundreds of pounds for participating in the E4 reality series.

She said: 'The agency have ghosted me - they haven't replied to any of my emails.

'The last time I was able to speak to them they just tell you you're going to get paid - 'eventually'.'

'I was treated like a volunteer - I was thinking about legal but it's probably not worth it for the money.'

Minja claimed she was assured by the agency she would get paid but 'no one is taking any responsibility.'

Monkey Kingdom, the company who produces Made In Chelsea, have since parted ways with the agency who hired Minja.

They said in a statement: 'We have set standards that we expect all individuals and companies we work with to uphold, and we take appropriate action if those standards are not met.

'We were made aware of an issue with a third-party agency responsible for hiring and paying individuals appearing on the show as supporting artists, and we are committed to rectifying the situation.'

When Made in Chelsea first burst onto our screens 13 years ago it featured a sea of young stars in their early 20s as they navigated a life of luxury in SW3.

The E4 show proved hugely popular with viewers and made the likes of Spencer Matthews, Ollie Locke and Louise Thompson household names.

The series has remained on the air for over a decade now and most recently aired its 27th season.

Meanwhile, Binky Felstead has reunited with OG cast members Rosie Fortescue and Lucy Watson for their new show, Beyond Chelsea, which follows the trio's lives more than a decade after they found fame on the E4 show.

Explaining her decision to return to TV, she says: 'Since I left Made in Chelsea, I've been asked most days, "when are we going to see the OGs back together?" So I pitched the idea to Channel 4 last October.

'It's basically the next stage of our lives after having been in our early 20s on reality TV. Some of us have got married, had kids, we've all got our own businesses and we're all in quite different stages of our life.

'I think for those diehard Made in Chelsea fans, it'll be quite interesting to see how life is after being on reality TV or in the public eye - how we shoot campaigns, business meetings, work with brands.

'It's very raw and more organically filmed. We've got people following us around in our houses whereas it wasn't filmed like that before.

'I wouldn't be able to film how Made In Chelsea is filmed anymore because I've got three kids - I couldn't go on location for hours.'

'Beyond Chelsea is supposed to be something quite fresh and new. I feel like this could be something way bigger than just a Made in Chelsea spin off.'
