Norwegian K-12/Schools OneRoster Profile
Service Provider Certification Suite

Supporting Implementations of Norwegian K-12/Schools Profile of the OneRoster 1.2 Rostering, Resources, Gradebook and Student Absence Services.

This is the entry point into the conformance certification test system for service providers claiming compliance to the 1EdTech OneRoster (OR) v1.2 specification. This test system is designed to test all of the mandatory features required for conformance but it will also test all of the features that an implementation makes available operationally.

  • Your group must be a 1EdTech Affiliate Member or 1EdTech Contributing Member
  • Your group must fill-in and submit the software setup and intent commitment documentation for OneRoster provided here
  • Your group must then implement the OneRoster 1.2 Specification service.

To pass the complete certification your organization must take the following steps:

  • The certification tests provided here for the Norwegian K-12/Schools OneRoster 1.2 Profile must be completed by a designated representative of the member organization, and you must agree that there is no misrepresentation or manipulation of results in the submitted results
  • Your implementation must support at least one of the four services within OneRoster i.e. Rostering, Resources, Gradebook and Student Absences
  • You agree to submit the completed results to 1EdTech for review.

NOTE: For OneRoster 1.2 certification, an implementation MUST use the OAuth 2 Client Grant authorization access mechanism as described by the 1EdTech Security Framework 1.1 and explained in the OneRoster 1.2 specification.

After 1EdTech reviews your submitted information and notifies you that your application is approved, you can claim certification to 1EdTech OneRoster and display the certification badge on your web site and in your software.

By completing and submitting the completed certification application form, you are agreeing that your submitted test results are an accurate depiction of your product and the version for which you are requesting certification. Note that certification is good for one year, after which you will need to renew your certification following the renewal procedures in place at that time.
