Ali Aindow (Cornwallis, 2012) is currently taking part in the World’s Toughest Row across the Atlantic. HMS Oardacious are the Royal Navy’s ocean rowing team and this year sees the Royal Navy’s first all-female crew, the Valkyries, take on the challenge. Ali and the team departed San Sebastian de La Gomera, Spain on Wednesday 11 December and we have been tracking them ever since in the Alumni Office! Oh what a year! We have reached the last day of term and it’s safe to say it has been rather busy in the RHS Futures and Alumni Office. Thank you for your incredible support throughout this year. Whether you've shared your stories, attended events, supported our campaigns, or simply kept in touch, you've played a part in the continued success and vibrancy of the RHS community.    We hope to see lots of you at upcoming events, next year!    We're so grateful to have you as part of our RHS family. Today marks the end of the Michaelmas Term and is also The Rev’d Laura Mumford’s last day as RHS Chaplain too. We know lots of you have met her during her time at RHS either on tours, at reunions or having attended one of her Chapel services. George Wordley (Collingwood, 2003) and Emily Wordley, née Williams (Howe, 2004) came back to RHS for the Christmas Fayre and as we were there, we could take them on a trip down memory lane and go for a tour of the school. On Saturday our wonderful donors attended a drinks reception before going to the school Christmas Concert. We wanted to thank them for their generosity and support of the Centennial Bursary Campaign. It was such a pleasure to welcome and personally thank generous donors who make such a difference to the RHS community.
