What is CivTech? We often assume everyone knows what CivTech is, but if you're new here, you might need some help! Check out this video we created a few years ago that perfectly captures CivTech (well apart from a few hairstyle changes!). 🎥 A huge thank you to our amazing colleagues who helped bring this film to life, and to anyone watching—we hope you enjoy it! Congratulations to HelpFirst and Citizens Advice Scotland for winning the Digital Public Service Award at the Scottish Public Service Awards!🎉 This well deserved recognition specifically highlights their impactful work on social value during #CivTechRound6. #ScotlandIsNow #TechForGood
Thrilled to share that the work I did during my time with Citizens Advice Scotland and the HelpFirst won the Digital Public Service Award at last night’s Scottish Public Service Awards! https://lnkd.in/ewdqNG74 This recognition highlights the work done during the pandemic on a CivTech 6 funded helpline, which was developed to provide critical support during an incredibly challenging time. The helpline exemplifies how innovative digital solutions can make a tangible difference in people’s lives, particularly in moments of crisis. A huge thank you to CivTech Scotland funding, which made this groundbreaking project possible. It’s a testament to the power of collaboration between voluntary, public and private sectors in creating impactful services for communities and thanks to Andy Bell for the invite last night. In addition to this incredible win, work was also recognised as runners-up in two other award categories—a reflection of the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in previous projects in voluntary sector and commerical partnerships categories. Was also delighted to be there to celebrate Natasha Gilmour incredible achievements which were recognised as runner up in the leadership award category last night! Natasha’s leadership has been pivotal in driving innovation, collaboration, and excellence across services and projects. I was proud of what was achieved in the past 4 years and even more excited about continuing to develop inclusive, person-centred, and transformative digital services as part of my next challenge. #DigitalInnovation #PublicService #CivTech #HelpFirst Andy Bell Jane Adams Mark Elliott George Holmes David Redpath

🚀 The Exploration Stage of #CivTechRound10 has officially come to an end! Over the past three weeks, our incredible competing companies have worked to refine their solutions with the support of our Challenge Sponsors. With £5,000, workshops, and 1-on-1 sessions with legal and finance experts at their disposal. “It’s a really important part of the journey through the CivTech Accelerator”, says Joe Tree, Head of the Accelerator. Not just for participants, but the Challenge Sponsors, too. “They can add nuances to the way the Challenge is framed or even change direction completely.” As this chapter comes to an end, participants have refined and resubmitted their proposals and are preparing for the final interviews happening this week. All eyes are on securing a spot in the Accelerator. Stay tuned for more updates! 🌟 #TechForGood #ScotlandIsNow

Exciting day at #DigitalScotland2024 in Edinburgh! Hosted by Futurescot, this event is all about driving digital transformation for public sector policy and technology leaders. We were thrilled to be mentioned in the opening keynote by Ivan McKee, Minister for Public Finance, who highlighted the amazing work being done to transform the Scottish Government’s digital services, with a focus on the four “Cs” – Common Platforms, Common Approaches, Culture Change, and CivTech! This afternoon promises even more insightful sessions, and we are particularly looking forward to hearing from John-Paul Marks, Permanent Secretary to the Scottish Government, and Sidsel Bülow Skovborg, from the Danish Embassy, who will discuss the crucial role of keeping public services at the forefront of the digital revolution. We firmly believe CivTech has a key part to play in shaping this future!😉 #ScotlandIsNow #TechForGood #DS24
