    The course focused on DNA at the core of life - how DNA works and how it informs the structures and functions of living things. The course explored key scientific advances and recent changes in our understanding of genetics. It also includes medical and biotechnological breakthroughs and future possibilities. It allowed me to explore the mechanisms by which genetic variation is created and how genes are passed from generation to generation.

    Activities and Societies: Whilst attending this University, I involved myself actively with the Microfinance society and the Oxfam society.

    Dissertation Title: 'Strategy: The need to change with change itself.'

    The dissertation critiqued the strategic tools that are in use today (Porters '5' Forces, SWOT analysis, Ansoff Matrix, Porter's Value Chain) and explained why we can not use tools that were designed for the industrial era in the knowledge and information economy. It then went on to to make recommendations for new strategic analytical tools that would be better suited for today's analysts.

I achieved this by creating an application that looked for specific words and timings to present graphical representations of the data to predict future movements.
