The brief was to create a marketing strategy aimed at getting young people involved with IT; as a team we devised a social network based marketing platform in order to directly engage with young people and challenge people's misconceptions with IT.
After conducting research with young people through surveys and school workshops we found two common misconceptions - that IT is boring, and that it wasn't heavily involved in the fields they wished to work in.
We created a fun and unique viral marketing campaign, including thought provoking videos and images, in order to directly challenge people's misconceptions of IT. Additionally, we created daily profiles of interesting uses of IT in different sectors to show young people that whatever they want to do, IT Counts.
In the weeks leading up to the competition we built a solid fan base and with our planned marketing efforts, and in the week before the competition we had reached over 7,000 people worldwide with many universities and technology companies sharing our thought provoking images. Our main campaign video was seen by over 3,000 people in less than 12 hours.
After receiving excellent feedback and support from the companies at the competition, this has inspired us to continue our efforts with IT Counts and we are currently exploring our options on how to go forward with the campaign.Other creatorsSee project -

Creating a Customer Relationship Management system fitting to a project brief.
We are required to create a system in which works for the persona we picked, then present our designs and ideas to multiple judges.
During this project, holding meetings with the project stakeholder is required and also creating prototype designs as well.
During second semester, we had to implement the designs we created and make a system that will be then presented again to set of judges…Creating a Customer Relationship Management system fitting to a project brief.

During second semester, we had to implement the designs we created and make a system that will be then presented again to set of judges. During the showcase, we came third place, in which was a huge achievement for my team and I, as we knew the struggles we faced and overcoming them was a bonus and we felt that our efforts were noticed by the feedback we received from the judges.Other creators
