Let's set the scene. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗔 𝙲𝚘𝚖𝚙𝚊𝚗𝚢 𝙱 This is a real-life example of the retail industry. Both companies are under the same group competing for business. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗔 Took 9 months to decide and make a decision on what platform to go with. Waiting for internal stakeholders to come back into office, overthinking their market and becoming undecided on what direction to take. Company A failed. 𝙲𝚘𝚖𝚙𝚊𝚗𝚢 𝙱 Made decisions quickly and reaped the rewards. Decided on their technology stack and is now one of the most reputable brands globally. Benefiting off making decisions quickly, allowed them to be one step ahead compared to their rivals/competition. Company B thrived. So is the key to success making informed decisions quickly??? While research, internal alignment and stability are critical - pushing to make decisions quickly seems to be the recipe for success in the technology market currently. I've never even considered leaving Xero before since I started with them first in 2008/09 (can't quite remember). But I don't like a gun held at my head. What are other options in the market for micro businesses? I don't like the idea of banking and accountancy software being from the same company so won't go with Tide and similar. My very first company (2004 to 2006) used #Sage50 (or whatever it was called) I think. #accountancysoftware

The revival of this policy aims to regain customer trust amidst a challenging period that led to job cuts and store closures. This move follows the High Street's struggles with the pandemic's impact and the shift towards online shopping, resulting in a net loss of 5,000 stores last year. Rival Marks & Spencer is also undergoing a significant restructuring, while Debenhams has transitioned to an online-only brand.
