What are the most effective ways to measure SROI for social innovation strategies?
SROI is powerful and therefore it is important to be transparent in all of the decisions made in the reporting process (so others can audit it). It is also important to recognise that SROI should be informing decisions - even if the decision is to understand a specific aspect of value more with certain beneficiaries. SROI takes effort and so much can be learnt from it to improve social innovation!

What are the most effective ways to measure SROI for social innovation strategies?
It is important to account for attribution, deadweight, displacement, and drop-off - and details of these these may too be collected during the previous stages, or they be estimated using 'reasonable' logic. In my own previous SROI reports, we collated the views of stakeholders and referred to published research around the value/length of benefits.

What are the most effective ways to measure SROI for social innovation strategies?
When there is a time and resource to do so, it can enrich the validity of data (and its interpretation) to use a participatory approach. In other words, involving stakeholders in the collection - and importantly - its interpretation can really help the evaluators in making sense of the data. Evaluating the Impact of Leadership Coaching

This book offers an essential evaluation model so that leadership coaches and stakeholders can demonstrate the impact of their coaching programmes, challenging current thinking that the return on investment from leadership coaching is too complex to measure. The book is both practical and strategically informative, supporting coaches and organisations to plan confidently for the future as they collaborate over both short- and long-term decisions.

The book is both practical and strategically informative, supporting coaches and organisations to plan confidently for the future as they collaborate over both short- and long-term decisions.
The book provides:
•Ideas and insights into the dissemination of evaluation data to key strategic destinations
•Case studies that show how to evaluate Return on Investment (RoI) for both financial and non-financial targets such as behaviours, potential and wellbeing
•Tips, templates and reflective activities
Re-imaging evaluation as a strategic opportunity rather than an operational task enables leaders to perform in an agile way that is responsive to local and global uncertainties and business priorities.
“‘Evaluating the Impact of Leadership Coaching’ makes for a great read from two writers interested in helping move the debate from the facile to the factual, and from ego to evidence.”

REVIEW:
"Tony Wall has been in the vanguard of promoting and developing innovative and practical approaches to the formal acknowledgement of prior learning by universities and others for many years. This latest contribution to the field moves the debate - not least about how to extend and broaden access to successful tertiary educational experiences - on yet again."
