3 things a day my top clients constantly do.. Having looked after over 3500 clients since 2007 I can tell you that there is a reoccurring theme for the ones that dominate and see results. You can be one of 2 people when you join my program. 1) pay the money and simply do the basics. No more. No less. When pushed send a response etc or 2) be present every day By being present and in the moment a couple of things happen for the superstars on my program. 1) They are great communicators. Every day they give me a overview on workloads, stress levels, energy levels etc. "Pete just to let you know I'm flying at 50% energy today after a poor night sleep" for example This then allows the team to pivot and adjust. To ease up on the pressure, to make the necessary adjustments to the program. 2) They don't make excuses. "I didn't manage 10k steps today, so I've gone ahead and cleared an extra 30minutes tomorrow to make sure I hit 12k steps" 3)They trust the process. The journey can at times be frustrating. You may see weight spikes or plateaus. They don't panic. The purely follow the process that the team has laid out for them. How do you maintain your body once you're happy? It's very common to spend months making sacrifices, only to gain the weight back. So, how do you keep the fat off... forever? We'll use my client Daniel as a case study. On Monday I decided it was time to stop trying to lose fat. He's successfully lost 21.6kg (3.4 stone) and is buzzing. After losing fat, the next thing you must ALWAYS do is a maintenance period. This is where you aim to keep your weight the same (give or take a kilo or two) for 3-4 weeks. Months of fat loss will have messed up your hormones. Meaning: -Lower testosterone -Reduced metabolism -Increased hunger It's a very easy time to get fat again. The key to this is to only increase how much you eat a little. The mistake men make is they start to slip back into bad habits. They get complacent. A snack here, a few nibbles there... before they know it they've regained several kilos. Very frustrating. How do you avoid this? 1. Set new goals so you have something to focus on. 2. Be held accountable by someone. After that period of maintenance you can then begin working on gaining muscle. This means several months of eating more so that you gain muscle. Getting this right will set you up for a lifetime of confidence and health. #fitover40 #fatloss

Ask for Help! You'll be surprised how many people will be willing to extend their arm for you! In Business and in Life, historically, it came much easier to me offering help rather than asking for it. However, what I come to realise is that there are many people willing & ready to offer their help when asked. My own experience of this has been quite profound. I used to find it extremely challenging to ask for help, but what I didn't appreciate was that this process of reciprocal exchange is not only very healthy, but essential in regularly measuring how much we offer to extend an arm out! FOCUS ON THE INPUTS! I always tell my clients this, whether that be business coaching clients or property mentees. Control the 'controllables'. Often that means letting go of the end results. i.e. SALES! Because sales will come once you focus on the things in your control to create them. Believe it or not, you’re not in control of someone saying yes. But, you are in control of marketing, networking, having relevant conversations, and making offers to people.
