My top advice for businesses with large databases of unconverted leads: Use email and SMS remarketing to convert the leads you've already paid for. Look, you’ve already spent hundreds of thousands of pounds generating leads in the last few years. Now, it’s your time to reap the benefits by getting some lower-cost conversions through email and SMS. In our experience, it can cost you 80% less than what it does to convert a cold sale from digital marketing channels like Google and Facebook. The bottom line: Make sure you’re leveraging your database to the best of its ability. So, you start to get back some of the investment you’ve made in building it. But whatever you do… Don’t let an agency or somebody else take advantage of all that money you’ve spent by trying to charge you an inflated fee per sale. 😛

If your still buying solar leads from Bark and can’t get a decent return, this may help explain why. This just appeared on my feed on Facebook, leads are generated using generic top of the funnel ads like this, with customer info then being sold on to 4/5 fitters to maximise profit. Refund/return policies that are becoming tighter than a submarines window. Instead you could invest in running your own Facebook ads, on brand, showing off your accreditations, social proof, packages on offer etc etc Critically: they go to you and you alone and can be rang within 30 seconds of arriving while the lead is hot 🔥 Don’t go into another week with this being your strategy, or at least hedge and put some money into testing running your own and see the difference for yourself! Over the last 3 months we've generated over 13 Million impressions & hundreds of thousands of engagements across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram & Facebook for Cameo Apples. Here's what we've learnt: 1. Tapping into trends IS NOT ENOUGH ↳ YES it's a great way to generate lots of organic reach & engagement. But that's not enough! If you want to drive SALES, you have to creativey promote your product within a trend. Some of our most popular videos literally show our team going into store & purchasing the apples. 2. Evolve or Die ↳ We've been working with Cameo Apples for 5+ years now & what worked back then DOES NOT work now. It's so important to not get complacent. Last year, TikTok was a new platform we tested & it drove huge growth. This year we started testing YouTube Shorts & it was almost 75% cheaper to reach the same amount of people on TikTok. 3. Always be testing ↳ EVEN if your current strategy is killing it. It's so importat to keep testing absolute curve balls. We've tested a huge variety of content over the last 3 months. Some has flopped. But some has genrated millions of views & had a huge impact for the brand. If we didn't do so much testing, we wouldn't find the absolute GEMS! I promised Lee Anderson a list of things we did to get incredibly high google rankings👇 1 - General good practice. Proper page headers and tags, fast loading & mobile freindly 2 - Write the pages as if you were explaining things to your mate in the pub, you will know far more than you think about your area of expertise, explain it in basic terms, split it into sections and pages, make them informative, not too long and link them, you want the reader to click another page. Update your site often 3 - Google reviews, as many as possible as regular as possible and keep them coming constantly 4 - Social Media, post loads of content daily on the channels you like and link to your website, it can only be good google sees you are alive every day. Facebook ads are a cheap way to throw quick eyes on your page which might help 5 - Backlinks - get any customers or suppliers who agree to do small write ups with links to your website on there website I am sure there is loads more things and a lot of this is speculaction but it’s the main things we did and now we get shed loads of organic visitors every day. It’s really hard intense work to actually do you have to be incredibly focussed and committed if you can’t then you best get a 3rd party to help but remember they can’t do point 2 which is the main one This is the kind of info I wrote up there are quite a few pages though all covering different things

Do you know what sucks about being an agency owner? Watching “so-called agencies” RUIN reputations for other agencies I am FED UP of seeing people watch a few YouTube videos and then launch an “agency” because someone has told them that they can make £1,000,000 in 90 days working 2 hours a day BULL CR*P and if this is you, I hate you Yes, it might be easy to sign a client But RETAINING that client is HARD Delivering RESULTS for that client is where the ££££ is at AND, if you’re NOT driving results, then you’re NOT going to retain, and that business owner is going to have a SOUR taste about the word “agency, FOREVER I’m a strong believer that unless you’ve either ran a business before, worked in marketing, or are an absolute genius, you CANNOT just set up an agency I had ran 4 e-commerce companies myself, and exited 1 before launching Eventus Agency It takes having SKIN IN THE GAME to really know what you’re doing, especially when you’re spending ££££ A good agency cares more about your STRATEGY and focuses on all of the ins and outs of your business They don’t just focus on one area that they’re paid to do I.e. if we’re running paid social for a client, best believe that we’re all over their website, email marketing, fulfilment processes, customer service, etc WE WANT TO KNOW IT ALL Because without this, how on earth are we meant to scale a brand that might not even be ready to scale? A beautiful British summer 😂 3 years ago hiking in the Isle of Skye! I remember sitting there reflecting... I'd had a few 'failures' at that point: 1. Copywriting (made like $400) 2. Amazon FBA (flipping items at scale - broke even) 3. E-Commerce (brand called Hülah - I'm STILL sat on stock that never sold 😂) So what was the next play in my entrepreneurial journey? Soon after this Jake Chivers & I doubled down on Titan... And every 'failure' from that era has had a positive impact: ↳ Copywriting: for writing great Email & SMS campaigns ↳ E-Commerce Company: accountants, websites, Shopify knowledge ↳ Amazon FBA: former employees STILL work with us on SEO & blog posts 'Failures' -> net positives. We're still on some level conditioned to fear things going 'wrong'. But every move you make... People met, skills learnt, resilience built... All experience that primes you to seize opportunities when they do arise.

Asking Prices down 2.4% last month!!! - North Devon Property Market Update. Headline Stats - *Rightmove HPI - South West asking prices down by -2.4%. That's the biggest drop of anywhere in the UK *SOLD prices according to Rightmove and Land Registry stats are down a massive 10% in the last year - Ouch! *Although, up 3% since the peak of 2021 Key indicator of a slow market due to pricing is number of homes taking longer to sell. *Rightmove available properties in North Devon - 2270 *Slow movers more than 12 weeks - 2031 *Average time on the market for these homes is 203 days compared to the average time to sell of just 62 days! Is there any Good news for sellers and buyers? *Rightmove report a jump in demand of 19% expected to be much higher this month *Affordability is improved due to bank rates and mortgage rates drop with possibly more to come *Summer distractions are largely behind us, General Election, Euros, Olympics, rate cuts and inflation etc. *Transactions up Nationally by 16% compared to last year What does this mean? *Buyers – great time to buy in the next month or so while North Devon prices are dropping and affordability increasing. But as demand increases so will prices. *Great time to sell for those realistic sellers motivated to move on with their life plans as those homes priced well, are selling well.
