    Current analysis on static indentation predominantly fo- cus on a plate models for simulation of indentation.     Current analysis on static indentation predominantly fo- cus on a plate models for simulation of indentation. In this work, we consider the curvature effects that become predominant with the increase in transverse displace- ment of the plate. The 3-D shell model is employed for simulating indentation to capture the non-linear be- haviour due to curvature effects. VAM is applied to re- duce the 3-D problem to a 2-D Reissner-Mindlin con- stitutive form through a 1-D normal line analysis. The resulting 2-D model is solved for unknown contact forces and displacements at each level of indentation. The model is meshed using 4-noded degenerate quadrilateral elements with shape functions defined by the Bernstein basis functions. Power law contact force-indentation re- lationships have been proposed for symmetric, cross and angle ply lay-ups. Curvature effects on contact force and their dependence on indentation are also analysed. Vari- ation of indentation energy with lay-up angle is also de- picted for use in delamination studies. The simulation results were compared with analytical and experimental results for sandwich laminates of different lay-up config- uration and they show good agreement with published data.

The stabilization diagram is a graph of measured transfer functions which include stable poles of the structure for each modal order versus frequencies which include modal frequencies of each stable pole. Further, a user is allowed to input user modal parameters, such as a maximum damping ratio, maximum number of stable poles to be selected from the stabilization diagram, and minimum separation in frequency between consecutive stable poles. Furthermore, stable poles having a damping ratio less than or equal to the maximum damping ratio are obtained. A histogram having bins, with a width equal to the minimum separation in frequency, is obtained. Also, the modal parameter of the structure is automatically extracted using the histogram.

    The report aims to study the trends in legal features observed in venture capital term sheets in investment rounds observed in the US and we look at the economic rational behind the development of these features. The data covers 5000+ transactions between 2003 and 2014 and is one of the most comprehensive studies undertaken so far in existing literature. Our findings are compared with quarterly venture capital surveys performed by Fenwick and West LLP.
