CPD is such a tricky field to manage because it requires two things that are tough to get enough of - time and money. We would love to have time to commit to improving our teaching but the day to day jobs of school can take over. Quality CPD involves money, and follow ups to training to monitor the progress of the training which is more money. Releasing teachers to see good practice in the school is something we can cover internally saving money and time.
