Blippar is a world-leading visual search and augmented reality app that is working to make the whole world ‘blippable’.
This project team was selected by Blippar to support this goal by conducting research into how to increase app usage by content consumers and producers.
Secondary research was conducted into the success factors of platforms, the motivators behind the production and consumption of content and how to obtain a critical mass. This project team was selected by Blippar to support this goal by conducting research into how to increase app usage by content consumers and producers.
Secondary research was conducted into the success factors of platforms, the motivators behind the production and consumption of content and how to obtain a critical mass. Additionally, qualitative primary research was conducted in the form of focus groups and in-depth interviews in order to gain further insights into the potential users of the platform and their preferences regarding features and motivators.

Each member was chosen by the business school to represent Newcastle university. The team was sent to Milton Keynes and given a brief to increase the brand awareness of Seat Cars within the UK.
