  • End of Year Marketing Consultancy Project for Blippar: Making an Action go Social

    Blippar is a world-leading visual search and augmented reality app that is working to make the whole world ‘blippable’.
    This project team was selected by Blippar to support this goal by conducting research into how to increase app usage by content consumers and producers.

    Blippar is a world-leading visual search and augmented reality app that is working to make the whole world ‘blippable’.
    This project team was selected by Blippar to support this goal by conducting research into how to increase app usage by content consumers and producers.
    Secondary research was conducted into the success factors of platforms, the motivators behind the production and consumption of content and how to obtain a critical mass. Additionally, qualitative primary research was conducted in the form of focus groups and in-depth interviews in order to gain further insights into the potential users of the platform and their preferences regarding features and motivators.
    This research and the recommendations derived were then synthesised within a written report and presented to the Blippar team at their office.

    • Using analytical tools and qualitative research to identify potential customer segments and optimise the product offering
    • Developing a digital marketing communications plan to support a crowdfunding campaign, enhance BLOCKS’ social media presence and increase pre-orders

  • SEAT Creative Project

    -

    Each member was chosen by the business school to represent Newcastle university. The team was sent to Milton Keynes and given a brief to increase the brand awareness of Seat Cars within the UK.

    The team then went to MediaCom HQ in London and presented their idea to a group of industry experts. The team was successful and after being given a budget, they converted the idea into a reality.
