Over the last two weeks, I’ve met 25 IC and change communications professionals either virtually or face-to-face. It’s been a busy start here at Comma Partners and I’ve loved reconnecting with old contacts and meeting new ones.   What’s clear from my meetings is that communications leaders are crying out for more support, but there’s still a level of uncertainty in the market which has led to prolonged hiring freezes and transformation programmes being put on hold. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the budget in less than two weeks’ time in the hope it’ll bring some clarity and stability to the market in order to stimulate that much-needed growth!   We have a huge network of mid-senior level communications professionals looking for their next permanent or contract role, so do keep us in mind for when the recruitment freezes start to thaw!
